Stress Management and Rehabilitation Training

The IAHV Prison Program (formerly Prison SMART) is an internationally renowned rehabilitation program that effectively transforms the mindsets, attitudes and behavior of offenders, thus aiming to break the cycle of violence in our societies at the root, and reducing re-offending. It also offers crucial stress management and trauma relief for correctional staff and victims of crime.

Since its inception in 1992, over 700,000 persons in 60 countries have undergone the IAHV Prison Program. In the United States alone over 20,000 inmates, correctional officers and law enforcement staff have experienced the program.

The IAHV Prison Program teaches all levels of inmates and corrections staff evidence-based techniques that reduces stress and allows the participants to manage their emotions effectively. The IAHV Prison Program offers tools for for staff wellness, and true inmate rehabilitation.

For the first time ever, the IAHV Prison Program is offering their signature course ONLINE at no cost to correctional staff during this COVID-19 crisis.

The IAHV Prison Program has been working with corrections for the last 28 years (in over 60 countries) and we have seen firsthand the amount of stress that our correctional staff face. Studies have shown that the amount of stress reduces immunity and overall wellbeing.

The course is three consecutive days, 2 hours per day. All days/times are required as each day builds on the next.

This should be done in the privacy of your own home online.

The IAHV PRISON PROGRAM Correctional Staff Course delivers the following: Techniques that reduce the effects of stress and increases energy, focus, and resilience.

Core components of the program include advanced breathing methods, Physical conditioning, and small group discussions. 


While each person is different, many participants experience a reduction in tension and stress and a greater sense of well-being.

Tools from the course can be easily practiced on your own in just minutes a day. Daily practice helps the benefits to grow in all aspects of your daily life. Several studies verify a wide range of mental, emotional and physical benefits.
